CITYSCAPES

”Tudo vale a pena. Se a alma não é pequena.”

(Everything is worth it if the soul is not small.)

Fernando Pessoa

There is a unique charm in Portuguese cityscapes. Little city corners with traditional architecture, pavements and streetlights show the extraordinary soul of the nation.

The traditions and culture can be spotted in tiny elements of the pictures. Every city and nearly every street has its own particular streetlight, the design of which tells about age and character of the place. Pavements represent the historical events. The distinctive appearance of the walls speaks of an owner’s personality.

Artworks are exposed in Soulful Gallery (Rua Brites de Almeida, 18
8000-404 Faro, Portugal).
